We are seeking a committed Government Compliance Officer (CDO) to oversee and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements involving government agencies including BIR, SEC, LGUs, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and others. The role covers the filing, remittance, registration, renewal, closure, and handling of various government-related transactions. This position involves regular fieldwork, effective communication, and the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with agency representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, submit, and remit required documents and payments to BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, SEC, LGUs, and other government entities.
  • Manage business-related processes including new registrations, business closures, and permit and license renewals.
  • Facilitate applications for compliance requirements such as BIR COR, ATP, Books of Accounts, and other necessary filings.
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely completion and submission of reports, forms, and payments.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to collect required documents and information.
  • Represent the company during government office visits and ensure efficient transaction processing.
  • Maintain organized and complete records of all compliance documents and activities.
  • Build and sustain positive working relationships with government personnel.
  • Provide consistent updates and escalate urgent concerns when necessary.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes impacting compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Open to fresh graduates eager to learn and develop a career in compliance.
  • Must be based in Cagayan de Oro (CDO).
  • Proficient in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
  • Comfortable working with online systems and platforms.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, and punctual.
  • Willing to travel for fieldwork and government transactions.
