
Import Documentation Assistant

1. Import Documentation:
- Prepare and verify all required import documents such as:
- Bill of Lading (B/L)
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin
- Insurance Certificate
- Import Licenses (if applicable)
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely receipt of shipping documents.
2. Customs Clearance Support:
- Liaise with customs brokers and clearing agents for timely filing and clearance.
- Ensure correct HS codes, duty structures, and compliance with import regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs procedures and changes in import laws.
3. Shipment Coordination:
- Track shipments and update internal systems or stakeholders about the status.
- Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, warehouse, accounts) to align delivery schedules.
- Resolve documentation issues that could delay the shipment or clearance.
4. Record Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain organized records of all import documents.
- Prepare periodic reports on shipment status, delays, and documentation issues.
- Archive all shipment-related correspondence and documentation digitally and/or physically.
5. Compliance & Audit:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and trade compliance regulations.
- Assist in internal/external audits by providing relevant documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years in import logistics/documentation preferred.
- Knowledge of:
- INCOTERMS
- Import regulations and procedures
- Customs clearance process
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php19, Php20,000.00 per month
