About the role

Transpacific International Consolidator Inc. is seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to join our growing team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely import of goods from overseas, ensuring a seamless logistics process for our clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate the import process from origin to destination, liaising with shipping lines, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for customs clearance, including invoices, packing lists, and bill of ladings
  • Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to clients on the progress of their imports
  • Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the import process
  • Maintain accurate records and data on all import activities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of import procedures and policies
  • Collaborate with the wider logistics team to optimise import operations and drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an import coordinator or similar logistics role
  • Thorough understanding of import regulations, customs clearance processes, and documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, shipping partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues
  • Proficiency in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
