Human Resources Supervisor

I. POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Supervisor assists in managing and overseeing daily HR operations, ensuring that all HR policies, procedures, and programs are implemented effectively. The role supervises HR staff and supports functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, training, documentation, and compliance with Philippine labor laws.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Recruitment and Selection
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Ensure timely hiring based on manpower requirements.
- Maintain applicant records and recruitment reports.
2. Employee Relations
- Provide support in resolving employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
- Conduct initial fact-finding on employee-related issues.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment.
3. Policy Implementation and Compliance
- Enforce company rules, HR policies, and code of conduct.
- Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations and labor standards.
- Assist in audits, government reports, and statutory compliance.
4. Compensation and Benefits Administration
- Supervise payroll preparation and verify attendance, overtime, and leave records.
- Oversee government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of documents.
5. Performance Management
- Support the implementation of performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with department heads regarding appraisal schedules and documents.
- Assist in monitoring employee performance improvement plans (PIP).
6. Training and Development
- Help identify training needs and arrange training programs.
- Facilitate onboarding orientations for new hires.
- Maintain training files and evaluation results.
7. HR Documentation and Reporting
- Ensure completeness of employee 201 files.
- Prepare HR-related reports such as turnover rate, attendance summary, and recruitment status.
- Maintain records of memos, contracts, and disciplinary actions.
8. Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversee HR assistants/staff and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to HR team members.
- Support management in implementing HR initiatives and employee engagement activities.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2–4 years of relevant HR experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of Philippine Labor Laws.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
