The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager ensures that HR strategies support organizational goals and fosters a productive, compliant, and positive workplace environment.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Recruitment and Staffing

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Oversee job posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring processes.
  • Ensure workforce planning meets operational requirements.

2. Employee Relations

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
  • Promote positive employee relations and workplace culture.
  • Conduct investigations on employee issues and recommend appropriate actions.

3. Policy and Compliance

  • Develop, update, and enforce company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Labor Laws (DOLE regulations).
  • Maintain HR-related legal records and statutory requirements.

4. Compensation and Benefits

  • Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Recommend competitive compensation structures and adjustments.
  • Monitor employee attendance, leave credits, and disciplinary actions.

5. Performance Management

  • Implement performance appraisal systems.
  • Guide supervisors in goal setting and employee evaluation.
  • Recommend promotions, corrective actions, and developmental programs.

6. Training and Development

  • Assess training needs and create annual training plans.
  • Organize workshops, onboarding programs, and leadership development.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.

7. HR Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain 201 files, contracts, memos, and HR reports.
  • Prepare HR metrics for management review.

8. Strategic HR Leadership

  • Advise management on HR matters and organizational development.
  • Contribute to company planning, welfare programs, and engagement initiatives.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related course.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in HR leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
