We're on the hunt for a skilled and dedicated Purchasing and Logistics Officer to join our dynamic team.
In this pivotal role, you won't just be placing orders; you'll be a strategic partner, ensuring our clients' supply chains are efficient, cost-effective, and reliable. You'll manage everything from supplier relationships to the timely delivery of materials, all while working with a supportive and forward-thinking team.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the full procurement cycle, from sourcing suppliers and requesting quotes to placing orders and tracking deliveries.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and quality for our Australian clients.
- Oversee all logistics activities, including transportation and warehousing, to ensure on-time and cost-efficient delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with teams to prevent stockouts and manage surplus inventory.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Prepare and analyze purchasing reports and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure all purchasing and logistics activities comply with Australian regulations and company policies.
- Manage system data accuracy.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Logistics Coordinator, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SAP, Xero, Netsuite or Odoo ERP and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent understanding of procurement and supply chain principles.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- A proactive mindset with a talent for problem-solving.
