Job Summary:
The Purchasing Staff is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring materials, supplies, and services needed by the company. This role ensures timely and cost-efficient purchasing while maintaining quality standards and good supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:· Source and evaluate suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
· Request and review quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
· Prepare and process purchase orders (PO) accurately and promptly.
· Coordinate with warehouse and other departments to monitor inventory levels and material requirements.
· Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
· Monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
· Maintain an updated database of suppliers and purchasing records.
· Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements or alternatives.
· Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
· Support cost-saving initiatives and contribute to efficient procurement processes.
Qualifications:· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
· With at least 1–2 years experience in purchasing or procurement.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
· Proficient in MS Office applications and familiar with basic inventory systems.
· Can work independently with minimal supervision.
