About the role

Nityo Infotech Services Philippines Inc. is seeking a dedicated QA Tester to join our growing team. As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This full-time position is based in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, and will involve working closely with our development team to identify and resolve software defects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to thoroughly evaluate software functionality, usability, and performance
  2. Identify, document, and track software bugs and issues, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution
  3. Automate testing processes and create reusable test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage
  4. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of our software
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  2. 2+ years of experience as a Software QA Tester, preferably in an Agile development environment
  3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and identify creative solutions
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  5. Experience with test case design, defect tracking, and test reporting
  6. Knowledge of software development life cycle, software testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices
