Position: Mid-Level Manual Tester
We're looking for a
Mid-Level Manual Tester
to join our QA team The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in
API testing
, and familiar with
test automation tools
. You'll work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers in an
Agile
environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.


Location:
Muntinlupa, Philippines


Work Mode:
Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve software defects.
  • Contribute to test planning, test data creation, and regression testing.
  • Support the implementation of automation scripts for repetitive test cases.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Ensure accurate defect tracking and reporting using JIRA or similar tools.
  • Work closely with QA leads to continuously improve test processes and quality standards.

Core Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing within web or enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured).
  • Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in bug tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Solid grasp of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect management.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Knowledge of basic SQL queries for backend validation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
  • Experience with performance testing tools is a plus.
