Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mid Manual QA Tester to join our team. The role involves testing software applications to ensure quality, functionality, and reliability by identifying bugs, reporting issues, and validating fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications to identify defects and ensure software meets requirements.
  • Document test results, track issues using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar), and verify fixes.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and provide feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices and participate in continuous process improvements.
  • Prepare test reports and communicate testing outcomes to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience in manual software testing.
  • At least 6 months API Testing experience and Basic Automation Testing experience.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Good knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
