We are looking for a motivated Junior QA Engineer who will support the team in ensuring software products meet quality standards. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn testing tools and methodologies while contributing to real projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and executing simple test cases and scenarios based on requirements.
  • Help perform basic functional, regression, and integration testing to check software quality.
  • Record and track bugs or issues using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
  • Work closely with developers and team members to understand project needs and timelines.
  • Share testing progress and challenges clearly with the team.
  • Learn and apply new testing tools, methods, and best practices to grow technical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum).
  • Familiarity with software testing concepts (EG: Test Case Design, Test Execution and Defect Management)
  • Familiarity with Test Management tools such ash: Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, HP Alm, etc.

  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
  • Should be a team player with proactive attitude

Work Setup

  • Project based contract
  • Hybrid (1x a week RTO at Alabang office)
