Junior Software Tester

§ Develops a strong level of understanding of the Cantier markets and drive initiative to learn

whatever is necessary to explore new solutions.

§ Participates in Software Project Launch & Planning, Requirements Analysis, Design &

§ Development, Testing (UAT) and Implementation.

§ Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

§ Analyses and identifies system defects encountered by users during acceptance testing.

§ Appropriately escalates these issues as defined by the processes.

§ Assists with and supports the maintenance of a clear and concise statistical and metric-based

reporting of testing progress including reports and dashboards.

§ Supports the testing environment and the testing lifecycle by reporting defects encountered by

§ users using the defined reporting process.

§ Coordinates and supports required project scope and deliverable timelines.

§ Prepare and deliver presentations, workflows or reports to stakeholders.

§ Assists the users in executing the user acceptance testing as specified in the test plan and test

§ case scenarios.

§ As needed, support the sales team in a technical/implementation capacity in pre-sales activities.

§ Obtains sign-off from testing participants upon completion of the entire test cycle.

§ Writes and maintains functional specifications for new or modified business systems.

§ Responsible for user training.

§ Assist the Quality Assurance (QA) team in validating that the system meets business

expectations.

§ Write functional specification and/or technical specification.

§ Update and schedule internal training sessions for featuring new product release features.

§ Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests.

§ Assists user community in the operation of computer systems Analyze current and future

application limitations and make recommendations to provide for future capabilities.

§ Responsible to perform other related tasks that maybe assigned from time to time by the

immediate supervisor.
