PURPOSE: The Architect (Project-Based) plays a key role in supporting the design and development of construction projects, contributing to the company's growth and operational efficiency. This position collaborates closely with various teams to ensure that architectural designs meet project requirements and align with business objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Design Development:
  • Create and develop architectural design perspective, plans, and specifications that meet client requirements and project objectives.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work alongside project managers, engineers, and contractors to coordinate and implement design solutions that enhance project delivery and efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all designs comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Project Documentation:
  • Prepare and manage accurate documentation, including drawings, proposals, and reports for project stakeholders.
  • Client Liaison:
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and incorporate feedback into designs.
  • Market Research:
  • Research architectural trends and materials to inform design decisions and stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Budget Management:
  • Assist in tracking project budgets, managing costs related to architectural design, and preparing cost estimates.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Review and approve construction drawings and specifications to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Project Meetings:
  • Attend project meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Address design challenges proactively and provide innovative solutions to ensure project success.
  • Mentorship:

  • Support junior architects or interns in developing their skills and understanding of architectural processes.

  • Additional Tasks: Perform any other duties as assigned to support the organizational goals and project needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture.

EXPERIENCE: At least three (3) years of experience in architectural design and project management in a relevant field.

SKILLS: Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficient in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketchup,Revit) and MS Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Commitment to maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

SUPERVISION: Standard; attention to detail required.
