Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Coordinator to join our finance team. This role is crucial in supporting day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring smooth billing and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical accounting skills with excellent organizational abilities and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Support payroll processing and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
- Generate financial reports and support audits as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements in financial workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, accounts coordination, or finance support.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
