JOB SUMMARY
The HR Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day execution of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, timekeeping, payroll, benefits administration and engagement activities. By providing reliable support and coordination across these functions, the role ensures consistent application of HR practices and contributes to building a positive employee experience. The HR Generalist also serves as a key partner in maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
HR and Admin Support
Assist in the preparation and safekeeping of HR and administrative forms, records and employee files.
- Provide support in the completion of DOLE requirements, permits and compliance related documents.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for office administration and HR related services.
Ensure updated tracking of employee data, contracts and benefits information.
Client and Employee Support
Act as first point of contact for day-to-day HR inquiries and escalate complex matters to the HRBP Manager.
- Support onboarding and orientation of new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the organization.
Coordinate with employees and clients for scheduled meetings, updates and HR concerns.
Talent Acquisition (Recruitment)
Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, referrals and other recruitment channels.
- Screen applications, conduct initial interviews and coordinate candidate assessment.
- Prepare recruitment-related documents such as job postings, job offers and pre-employment checklists.
Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring new employees complete all requirements and documentation.
Employee Relations
Help implement company policies, disciplinary procedures, and employee relations initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of employee movements, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
Support exit processes, including clearance, final pay coordination and exit interviews.
Employee Engagement and Organizational Development
Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for training programs, workshops, and learning sessions.
Maintain attendance and evaluation records for employee development programs.
Timekeeping and Payroll
Monitor employee attendance, overtime and leaves for payroll processing.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements.
- Process government-mandated contributions and assist employees with related inquiries (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig, BIR).
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll and benefits records.
