Equicom Solutions Inc is seeking a talented Collection Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Collection Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our finance and accounting operations. What you'll be doing

  • Assist the AR Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the collections team
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely and accurate collection of outstanding payments
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve collection rates and reduce delinquencies
  • Analyse collection data and provide detailed reports to management
  • Train and mentor junior members of the collections team to enhance their skills and performance
  • Liaise with clients to address any payment-related inquiries or concerns
  • Support the implementation of new collections processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting and collections regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a collections or credit management role, preferably in the accounting or finance industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients
  • Proficiency in using collections software and other relevant technology
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and collections best practices
  • A team player with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to achieving targets
