We are looking for an experienced Collection Assistant to support the accounting team in managing collections and receivables. The role involves preparing billing statements, following up on payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare billing statements and monitor customer payments
  • Follow up clients for outstanding accounts and ensure timely collection
  • Record and reconcile payments in the system
  • Maintain accurate and updated collection records
  • Coordinate with clients and internal departments for billing concerns
  • Assist in generating collection reports and aging summaries
  • Handle official receipts and deposit transactions
  • Support accounting team in month-end closing and audit requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related course
  • At least 1 year of experience in billing and collections
  • Knowledge in accounting software
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and can work under minimal supervision
  • Trustworthy and able to handle sensitive financial information
