Job Responsibilities

  • Prepares, reviews and notarizes contracts and other legal documents needed for Pioneer Group of Companies' operations.
  • Prepares legal opinion for queries raised by various departments to provide information and advice.
  • Coordinates and consults with retained counsels on development of cases referred to legal services.
  • Represent the Organization in and attend any legal proceedings before the regular courts, Insurance Commission, DOLE, NLRC, among others.
  • Prepares reportorial documents required by government institutions.
  • Assists the Corporate Secretary in the performance of its functions.
  • Reviews application for bonds and provide recommendations.
  • Assists in the management of Bonds Operations.
  • Ensure the Organization is compliant with the various rules and regulations of the Insurance Commission, SEC, AMLA NPC, among others.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Bachelor of Law Graduate. BAR passer.
  • With at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • With excellent English communication skills both oral and written.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
  • Has the ability to establish and maintain good relationship within the organization.
  • Has the ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement.
  • Has the ability to foster customer service disposition and sense of professionalism.
