About the Role

We are looking for a Legal Officer to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Legal Department and ensure full compliance with government requirements. The role involves supervising Legal Assistants, reviewing legal documents, and representing the company before agencies such as DOLE, SEC, BIR, and LGUs when needed.

This position is ideal for a law graduate or experienced paralegal who is ready to take on a supervisory role within a corporate setting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and guide Legal Assistants in handling documentation, filings, and correspondence.
  • Review contracts, permits, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Coordinate with external agencies (e.g., DOLE, SEC, BIR, LGUs) and represent the company as required.
  • Monitor deadlines for business permits, government renewals, and corporate filings.
  • Maintain organized legal records, company registrations, and compliance trackers.
  • Assist management in drafting company policies, agreements, and internal memoranda.
  • Provide legal and compliance support to HR, Finance, and Operations teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Management, Political Science, or related field.
  • Law graduate preferred; bar license not required.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in legal, compliance, or corporate documentation work.
  • Familiar with government processes (DOLE, SEC, BIR, LGU, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is an advantage.
