What You'll Do
As a Junior Legal Officer, you will immerse yourself in a broad spectrum of responsibilities that are essential to maintaining the organisation's legal health. - Review, draft, and finalise contracts, legal documents, notices to proceed, and other project-related agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide clear and well-reasoned legal advice on corporate, labour, and commercial cases affecting the organisation's interests.
- Represent the company in various legal proceedings such as hearings, mediations, or arbitrations when required by management.
- Assess potential legal risks associated with business activities and propose effective mitigation strategies to safeguard the organisation.
- Coordinate with external law firms on ongoing cases to ensure alignment with internal objectives and timely resolution of issues.
- Ensure all aspects of corporate operations comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations by monitoring updates and implementing necessary changes.
- Advise management on matters related to corporate governance, regulatory developments, and evolving legal obligations.
- Support the resolution of HR-related disputes by ensuring all documentation is legally sound and compliant with current legislation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on case progress and provide regular updates to executive management regarding key legal developments.

- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a recognised institution coupled with active membership in good standing with the Philippine Bar.

- Demonstrated expertise in reviewing contracts, handling HR or labour disputes, and participating in litigation processes.
