About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Property Accountant to manage the financial operations of a portfolio of homeowner associations (HOAs). This role requires a solid foundation in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. You'll work closely with a supportive and professional team, where your financial expertise will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, transparency, and the continued success of the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned HOAs
  • Perform bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review Accounts Payable transactions at a senior level
  • Prepare comprehensive CPA audit packets
  • Assist with the preparation, entry, and review of annual budgets
  • Record monthly journal entries on an accrual basis
  • Provide financial insights and guidance to HOA Boards of Directors as needed
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • CPA license preferred

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in HOA financial management or professional accounting (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of GAAP principles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Professional, responsive, and able to work effectively with diverse teams and personalities
  • Ability to work independently while contributing in a collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a deadline-driven mindset
  • Willing to work U.S. business hours (night shift, PH time)
  • Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
