TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Role Overview
:

The Technology BD Manager will be responsible for the overall business performance and growth of , an API marketplace platform. The Technology Business Head will oversee the strategic development, daily operations, and revenue generation, ensuring seamless API integration, customer satisfaction, and business scalability. The position involves direct management of platform development, partner acquisition, revenue growth, and team coordination across marketing, finance, HR, and technical support teams.

Key Responsibilities
:

Business Leadership & Strategy:

  • Oversee all business operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Develop and execute the long-term vision of Concati.
  • Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) to ensure business profitability and financial health.
  • Lead the development of API partner acquisition, ensuring a robust catalog of APIs, including internal Globe Group and external partners.
  • Manage high-level relationships with API partners and key customers.
  • Regularly assess market trends, business performance, and competitive landscape to refine strategies.
  • Alignment with globe group wide goals and collaborate with group cross functional teams.
  • Identify new markets, partnership opp and rev streams

Platform Development & API Management:

  • Drive the product roadmap, working with technical teams to manage API integrations and platform development.
  • Ensure API acquisition targets are met, including agreements with both internal (Globe Group) and external partners.
  • Monitor and ensure platform performance metrics, including uptime, user experience, and scalability enhancements.

Revenue Generation & Market Penetration:

  • Develop strategies for the monetization of APIs, focusing on medium to large enterprise accounts.
  • Oversee sales strategies, including direct client acquisition and collaboration with distribution partners.
  • Ensure the achievement of key revenue and growth metrics
  • Lead the planning and execution of hackathons and developer engagement programs to drive awareness and adoption.

Operational Management:

  • Coordinate with shared resources teams (Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal, and Tech).
  • Lead day-to-day operations, including task management, issue resolution, and customer support.
  • Ensure timely and efficient execution of sprints, platform updates, and new feature rollouts.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Report regularly to shareholders on business performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive alignment with internal Globe Group champions and strategic partners like AWS to enhance business integration and growth.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience:

  • At least 7 to 10 years experience in SAaS environment. Preferably with strong tech build background
  • Good fundamental understanding of SDLC
  • Preferably strong understanding of API ecosystems, software development, and digital marketplaces.
  • Proven experience in P&L management and driving business growth in a SaaS or tech company.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and business development personnel.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
