Job Summary:
The HR and Admin Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management and general administrative functions. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training and development, office management, and supporting company operations through efficient administration practices. The role ensures that the organization maintains a productive, compliant, and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:Human Resources:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals and culture.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the right talent acquisition.
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, and exit processes.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Manage employee relations, handle grievances, and resolve conflicts.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR policies and labor laws.
- Lead performance appraisal processes and career development initiatives.
- Organize training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
Administration:
- Oversee day-to-day office administration and ensure efficient operations.
- Manage office facilities, equipment, supplies, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement administrative systems and procedures.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and company-wide communications.
- Supervise administrative staff and ensure high-quality support services.
- Liaise with external partners (legal, insurance, etc.) and government authorities when required.
- Monitor and control administrative budgets and expenses.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. (Master's degree or MBA preferred.)
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in HR and administration roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role with occasional travel, if required.
- May require working beyond regular business hours for urgent matters or events.
