Role description: The role sits in GEC Urban Development and reports directly to the Discipline Director, with a dotted line to the Business Development Director. The successful candidate will work closely with North America on a daily basis.

This is a full-time role focused on technical expertise and stakeholder management. Role accountabilities: Verify and sign off on milestone delivery of projects/tasks, addressing concerns or developments with the region as needed. Ensure project/task delivery aligns with Management Systems to meet deadlines, quality standards, and budgets.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff. Engage with senior leadership in the region on technical matters. Develop and implement digital solutions for urban development projects, enhancing capability and development.

Contribute to strategic planning for skills and capabilities within the service discipline, identifying gaps between current and future needs. Support building GEC competence and skills to support growth, efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Foster technical leadership across GEC to attract more work from countries.

Collaborate with BIM and Design Automation Leads to develop automated solutions and digital tools. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Experience in preparing, reviewing, and updating urban design plans and civil engineering works for various projects.

Over 15 years of experience in civil projects. Strong English communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills (team player, eager to learn, supportive attitude).

Availability for some periods abroad. Proficiency in Civil 3D & Navisworks. Experience in 2D and/or 3D design of technical plans for residential or industrial areas.

Ability to develop and implement digital solutions for urban development projects. Understanding of North American urban design standards. Why Arcadis?
