Event Stylist

The events Stylist is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing compelling event setups that align with the client's vision and the catering company's brand standards. This role blends creativity with logistical coordination, ensuring that all decorative and aesthetic aspects of catered events-from table styling and centerpieces to thematic backdrops and floral arrangement are flawlessly. They must coordinate purchases, storage and corresponding logistics with front of the house team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Creative Design & Conceptualization

• Collaborate with the sales and events team understand client preferences, event themes, and branding requirements.
• Develop mood boards sketches, and style guides for each event. Create and update the brand styling portfolio.
• Source inspiration and stay updated with current trends in event styling tablescaping, floristry, and thematic décor.

Styling Execution:

• In Coordination with the front-of-the House Team, oversee the setup and breakdown of event styling elements (tablescapes, floral arrangements, backdrops, etc)
• Ensure timely installation of décor elements in coordination with the culinary and service teams.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and consistency in all styling outputs.
• Supervise and direct styling assistants or third-party vendors on-site when necessary.

Inventory & Resource Management:

• In coordination with FOH, manage an inventory of décor materials, props, linens, tableware, and floral supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers for the rental or purchase of styling materials.
• Monitor and maintain condition of styling props and request replenishment as needed.

Client and Team Collaboration:

• Attend client meetings and venue site visits as needed to assess styling opportunities and constraints.
• Present styling proposals and sample setups to clients for approval.
• Coordinate with chefs, banquet supervisors, and event coordinates to ensure overall event flow complements the styling vision.
• Collaborate with the Brand, Marketing and creative Development team to align brand-wide styling and design language and execute internal events and directives accordingly.

Post-Event Task

• Conduct and or coordinate teardown and ensure safe return or storage of styling elements.
• Document styled events for portfolio, marketing and internal reference purposes.
• Evaluate styling performance and propose improvements for future events.
