HR Payroll Assistant

Job Summary: The HR Payroll Assistant is responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements. The role also includes assisting with applicant sourcing, posting job vacancies online, validating candidate credentials, scheduling interviews, and coordinating the onboarding of new hires. Additionally, the HR Payroll Assistant helps maintain compliance through routine audits and stays updated on internal policies and organizational events.

- Process end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including attendance, leave balances, overtime, and other pay-related adjustments.
- Coordinate with Accounting and Finance departments for timely salary disbursement and remittance of statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, etc.).
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of payslips, payroll reports, and government remittance proofs.
- Source applicants through platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and email outreach.
- Maintain and manage applicant data to build an active talent pool.
- Conduct initial interviews and validate candidate credentials.
- Schedule interviews based on key qualifications such as certifications and relevant experience.
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, including pre-employment requirements, background checks, and system account setups.
- Coordinate closely with department heads to understand and fulfill their hiring needs.
- Attend organizational meetings regularly to stay updated on company initiatives and HR-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Must be bachelor's degree in Human Resource or related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations in the Mall industry is a PLUS.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role and payroll is a MUST
- must be familiar with database systems and common HR applications
