Job Description:

Full-Time | Work From Home | Design Team Support & Project Coordination

We're looking for a Design Operations Coordinator to help streamline our design team's workflows, improve project organization, and support day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with a UI/UX or product design background who loves structure, communication, and helping creative teams work better together.

If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and excited about design operations, this is a great opportunity to grow into Design Operations Specialist and Junior PM roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

What you will do:

Project & Task Coordination

  • Track design tasks, priorities, deadlines, and project progress
  • Manage our Trello board and ensure tasks are properly updated
  • Prepare simple daily/weekly reports on progress and blockers
  • Follow up with team members to ensure smooth workflow

Workflow & Process Support

  • Help facilitate daily stand-ups and check-ins
  • Identify workflow issues and suggest improvements
  • Support timeline tracking, milestones, and capacity planning

Design File & Asset Management

  • Organize and maintain design files, folders, and asset libraries
  • Ensure consistent naming conventions and file structure
  • Assist designers with file cleanup and version control

Communication & Collaboration

  • Join client stand-ups to share updates and upcoming deliverables
  • Track incoming requests from stakeholders
  • Create cards for urgent tasks and notify team members

Documentation & Team Support

  • Document team processes, templates, and best practices
  • Support onboarding for new designers
  • Handle ad hoc operations or project support tasks

Required Experience

  • Minimum Requirements
  • 1–2 years of UI/UX or Product Design experience (hands-on familiarity)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Trello, Asana, Jira, or similar tools
  • Background in project coordination AND design operations
  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
