About the Role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Designer with at least 3 years of experience designing mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems for US-based projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of US building codes (ASHRAE, NEC, IPC) and strong skills in Revit MEP and AutoCAD for coordinated system layouts and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop MEP design drawings and Revit models for HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
  • Prepare layout plans, schematics, and details based on engineer markups and design intent.
  • Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to ensure fully integrated designs.
  • Apply US standards and codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC) to all MEP designs.
  • Perform preliminary load calculations and equipment sizing.
  • Support the preparation of construction documents and as-built drawings.
  • Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection reviews.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP design and drafting for US-based projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with US MEP codes and standards.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and project priorities.
