Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in mechanical piping, plumbing, and ductwork design, particularly in commercial and healthcare environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and reviewing mechanical system designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design mechanical systems including HVAC ductwork, piping, and plumbing layouts for commercial and healthcare facilities
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing using industry-standard tools
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure design integration
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, ASHRAE, and other relevant mechanical design standards
  • Review contractor submittals and shop drawings for conformance to design documents
  • Support project teams throughout design, construction, and commissioning phases
  • Conduct site visits as needed to verify design implementation and resolve field issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in commercial and healthcare sectors
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design tools
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and applicable local mechanical codes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php70,000.00 per month
