POSITION TITLE : LOGISTIC OFFICER

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR

TITLE   : PURCHASING MANAGER

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ø  Bachelor's degree of any four (4) year course

Ø  At least 3years experience as Logistic Officer

Ø  with pleasing personality

Ø  Proven experience working as a Logistic Officer

Ø  Sound knowledge of Logistic principles and practices

Ø  The ability to process large amounts of numerical data

Ø  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Ø  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ø  Strong management and leadership skills

Ø  Effective communication skills

Ø  Detail-oriented

Ø  Willing to be assigned in Mandaluyong City or travel to any branch of the company

The successful Logistic Officer will possess strong organizational, customer service and communication skills. They would be detail-oriented team players with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. As Logistic Officers typically work with computers and warehouse equipment, strong technical and mechanical skills are helpful. In addition to these general skills, a Logistic Officer could be expected by potential employers to possess the following skills:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Updating inventory lists.

· Receiving and dispatching goods and verifying movements of stock.

· Checking purchase orders against stock levels.

· Preparing delivery schedules.

· Coordinating maintenance and repairs of storage facility.

· Entering data into a database.

· Maintaining optimal stock levels at minimum cost.

· Ensuring OH&S protocols are followed in storage facility.

· Calculating storage and clearance costs.

· Managing incoming and outgoing invoices.

OTHERS:

·       Makes sure that all correspondence (letters, purchase order, etc..) that requires the attention of the head office are properly email and original copy sent to the department head concerned at the soonest possible time.

·       Follow proper rules and regulation as set by the HR (Human Resource), Accounting and Purchasing Department.

·       Attending training/re-orientation when required to do so and inform person concerned when work does not permit for attending such.
