Role Description

This is a full-time Makati based role as Logistics Officer, Head Office is located in Makati City.

The Logistics Officer will be responsible for directly overseeing all Importation requirements for all phases of construction from initial planning to project completion. This includes managing subcontractors (brokers and International Freight forwarders) ensuring compliance with Bureau of Customs (BOC), Procurement and Logistics Policy, safety regulations, maintaining project schedules, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects.

The Logistics Officer will also be responsible for ordering materials, inspecting work performed, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications

Experience in project management, construction management, Logisticd (Import and Export) and supervision.

Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards

Ability to review specifications and order best quality at source

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Proficiency with construction management software and tools

A bachelor's degree in Customs is required.

Experience in the construction industry is a must

Licensed Customs Broker is a must.

The ideal candidate will assist to manage Import transactions (International Freight Forwarding, Customs releasing, Permitting and Shipping line releasing).

Responsibilities

Assist in Planning and Execution of Department targets (Strategic Procurement, Logistics visibility, Customs processing and permittibg compliance) of Import and Local transactions.

Review Local and Internationa purchases while proactively seeking and developing new suppliers that fit existing project mine sites and newly acquire mine sites.

Review Purchase requisitions ansd assign to buyers. Review canvass sheets and analyze offers and perform negotiation.

Continue to update with latest market trends. Supply agreement, benchmarking and related best practices to improve and get value on spending.

Submit Key Performance Indicators (KPI) weekly

Submit training calendar for the Department

Review database and ensure timely archive of documents in shared folders

Qualifications

Graduate in Customs or Business Management or Professional Credentials related to Business Management or any related Course

Formal Education in Supply Chain Management (PISM, DSL, CSB, AIM, PASIA Program)

Certified Professional in Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service and Demand Replenishment is an advantage.
