Job Summary

Filoil Logistics Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Key Account Officer with proven expertise in fuel sales, including petroleum, diesel, gasoline, and lubricants. This role is critical in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored energy solutions to diverse industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of fuel products, energy markets, and distribution processes, combined with exceptional sales and negotiation skills.


Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Proactively identify, approach, and secure new clients across industries such as transport fleets, logistics, industrial companies, fuel depots, retail stations, and construction projects.

  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and continuously explore new markets.
  • Client Relationship Management

  • Establish, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support.
  • Sales Execution & Negotiation

  • Conduct persuasive sales presentations, technical product demonstrations, and solution-based selling tailored to client needs.

  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring competitive yet profitable pricing strategies in coordination with the Sales Manager.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives.
  • Market & Industry Intelligence

  • Monitor fuel industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify threats and opportunities.

  • Provide strategic feedback and insights to management to support decision-making and business planning.
  • Coordination & Operations Support

  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure accurate order processing, timely product delivery, and smooth account servicing.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry protocols, and company policies related to fuel handling and sales.
  • Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare detailed and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.

  • Maintain a structured database of prospects, leads, and clients using CRM tools.
  • Networking & Representation

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to build brand presence and generate leads.


Qualifications
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in selling fuel products (petroleum, diesel, gasoline, lubricants).

  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably in the energy, gas, or logistics sectors.
  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of petroleum products, lubricants, and their applications in various industries.

  • Knowledge of energy distribution processes, fuel quality standards, and storage/handling protocols.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and digital sales tools.
  • Core Competencies:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data, trends, and customer requirements.
  • Self-driven, highly organized, and capable of working independently under pressure.
  • Other Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid driver's license.

  • Willingness to travel extensively for client visits and business development activities.
