Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented HR Compensation and Benefits Specialist to manage employee compensation programs, payroll processing, and government-mandated benefits. The ideal candidate is an expert in payroll systems, SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG remittances, and advanced Excel functions for data management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:Compensation & Benefits Administration

  • Develop and implement compensation structures that are aligned with internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Manage and administer employee benefits such as allowances, bonuses, incentives, and statutory benefits.
  • Support salary benchmarking, job grading, and internal salary reviews.

Payroll Management

  • Process end-to-end payroll for all employees in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor codes, and internal payroll policies.
  • Handle payroll adjustments, overtime pay, holiday pay, final pay computation, and payroll reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with Finance for payroll funding and reporting.

Government Mandated Benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)

  • Ensure accurate computation and timely remittance of SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions.
  • Submit monthly reports and electronic payment files to government agencies via respective portals (e.g., My.SSS, PhilHealth EPRS, Pag-IBIG HDMF online).
  • Facilitate registration, loan applications, and benefit claims (e.g., SSS sickness/maternity, PhilHealth reimbursements, Pag-IBIG loans).
  • Maintain complete and organized documentation of remittances and confirmations.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Use advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, PivotTables, charts, and Macros) to prepare reports and analyze compensation trends.
  • Generate payroll, headcount, and benefits utilization reports for management review.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and policy compliance.

Compliance & Recordkeeping

  • Stay updated on labor laws and government regulations regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate employee records related to salary, deductions, and benefits.
  • Assist in audits and respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or Payroll, with a strong focus on compensation and government contributions.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis, automation).
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and government agency processes (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Any Experience using manual payroll.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage confidential data.
