  • Responsible for reviewing and timely processing of more complex types of AP documents by following company standard procedures.
  • Track billings from and payments to critical vendors (rent, utilities, internet and communication fees, and key suppliers) to ensure that all invoices are received, processed and paid in a timely manner; including the careful scrutiny on the validity of charges pertinent thereto.
  • Review and process all types of AP documents and transactions - PO, non-PO, check requests, expense reports, credit/debit card transactions, petty cash replenishment, etc. based on company policies and procedures, as needed.
  • Resolve any exceptions in processing invoices by coordinating with various departments such as Supply Chain, HR, etc.
  • Analyze and reconcile statement of accounts from vendors; build relationship with vendor accounting teams and work with them in resolving discrepancies and disputes.
  • Respond to email and voice inquiries from both internal (stores, other departments) and external suppliers.
  • Provide support to associates by helping with the day to day resolution of inquiries
  • Review transactions and reconciliations prepared by associates.
  • Ensure that all accounting records and documents especially those classified as highly confidential and with direct or indirect monetary equivalent are properly stored and filed at the end of each business day.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy, Business Management or equivalent

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • With 2-3 years of significant experience in Finance and Accounting or equivalent

  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS office tools

  • Knowledgeable in using accounting system(s)

  • Experience in a shared service type of environment is a plus
