Role: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Hybrid 3x a week in Makati

JOB OVERVIEW
The Accounts Payable Specialist will join a dynamic finance team supporting a global business focused on technology, digital services, and smart infrastructure solutions. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of payments and vendor management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process invoices accurately and on time, ensuring all entries are coded correctly and approved in accordance with company policy.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable cycle including vendor set-up, invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations.
- Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
- Monitor AP aging and follow up on outstanding items.
- Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing reports and reconciliations related to payables.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with audit requirements.
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives across the finance function.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounts payable or general accounting role, preferably in a fast-paced or multinational environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volume transactions with accuracy.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, Certinia) is preferred.
- Good communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting tools.
Preferred
- Exposure to working with global or APAC finance teams.
- Experience in the technology, consulting, or service industries.
