Pain Arizona is a leading interventional pain management group providing high-quality care throughout the Valley. Our administrative and billing team plays a vital role in maintaining accurate and efficient financial operations. We're currently seeking a Medical Payment Poster to join our growing billing department.
Position Overview
The Medical Payment Poster is responsible for accurately posting insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and denials into the billing system. This role ensures all payments are applied correctly and balances are maintained for efficient accounts receivable management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in handling high-volume payment posting within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately post insurance and patient payments, write-offs, and adjustments into the billing system.
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and remittance advices for accuracy.
- Reconcile deposits and batches daily to ensure all payments are accounted for.
- Identify and correct posting errors and discrepancies.
- Work closely with the AR and billing teams to ensure proper claim resolution.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all payment activities.
- Communicate with insurance companies or patients when clarification is required.
- Assist with month-end reconciliation and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in medical payment posting or medical billing.
- Strong understanding of EOBs, ERA files, adjustments, and common payer practices.
- Experience using EclinicalWorks (ECW) or other EMR/billing systems preferred.
- Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet daily posting deadlines.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 codes, and healthcare reimbursement terminology is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php Php470.00 per hour
