We pride ourselves on professionalism, teamwork, and efficiency — and we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical AR Specialist to join our billing team.
Position Overview
The Medical Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of the revenue cycle related to insurance claims and patient balances. This includes reviewing, analyzing, and following up on outstanding claims, denials, and payments to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and post insurance payments and patient payments into the billing system.
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure maximum reimbursement.
- Investigate claim rejections and prepare appeals when necessary.
- Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing or accounts receivable (preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting).
- Strong knowledge of EOBs, CPT codes, ICD-10, modifiers, and payer requirements.
- Experience with EclinicalWorks (ECW) or similar EMR/billi
- ng systems preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, payers, and internal staff.
- Familiarity with pain management or specialty billing is a plus.
- Communicate with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities and communications.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility as needed.
- Work closely with the billing team to ensure timely month-end close and reporting.
- Monitor aging reports and identify trends or recurring issues.
- Collaborate with management to improve AR workflows and efficiency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php Php470.00 per hour
