HR Services Specialist

Key Responsibilities
HR Systems & Data Management
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the organization's Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), including Workday, UKG Dimensions, ServiceNow, and Hyland OnBase.
- Understand system integrations and workflows to resolve employee needs, complete HR transactions, test new processes, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Execute and monitor HR processes in Workday and other systems, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Create and manage HR documents related to employment, service dates, and benefits.
- Maintain employee personnel files and support regulatory audits or inspections (e.g., Joint Commission, surveyors).
Benefits & Retirement Administration
- Act as the escalation point and subject matter expert for benefits and retirement processes.
- Manage and process vendor files, including funding and error reports, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to resolve complex employee inquiries requiring plan interpretation or exceptions.
- Support annual and cyclical HR initiatives such as Annual Benefits Enrollment, open enrollment, and wellness programs.
Employee Support & Service Delivery
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners, including employees, managers, HR business partners, vendors, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with COEs to understand and support HR programs, policies, and offerings.
- Ensure all service-related performance metrics (SLAs and KPIs) are consistently met or exceeded.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, employee experience, and data integrity.
Qualifications
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of HR operations experience in a global shared services or similar environment.
- At least 2 years of experience managing benefits administration (health & welfare, retirement, wellness programs, etc.).
- Strong understanding of HRIS platforms and employee lifecycle processes.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Professional certifications such as:
- PHR (Professional in Human Resources)
- SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources)
- SHRM-CP (SHRM Certified Professional)
- SHRM-SCP (SHRM Senior Certified Professional)
- CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist)
- Experience with HR systems such as Workday, UKG Dimensions, ServiceNow, and Hyland OnBase.
- Familiarity with HR service delivery models, COE partnerships, and SLA/KPI management.
