Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable functions within CHEOPS.
  • Process incoming invoices and allocate them to relevant projects.
  • Coordinate with project teams for clarifications and invoice approvals.
  • Set up new suppliers and subcontractors in CHEOPS.
  • Conduct mid- and end-month payment runs.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure supplier and subcontractor insurance documents are current.
  • Prepare and deliver reports as required by the Accounts Manager.
  • Support process improvement initiatives within AP and finance.
  • Assist with general administrative and financial tasks when required.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Administration.
  • Exposure to construction or project-based environments (advantageous).
  • Experience using CHEOPS or similar accounting/ERP systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Proficient With

  • CHEOPS or equivalent financial management software.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

Experience Advantage

  • Experience in end-to-end AP in a construction or property management environment.
  • Prior exposure to Australian accounting standards or clients.
