About the role

Cebu Landmasters, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Officer to join our team in Cebu City, Cebu. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development and progression. As an Accounting Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's financial accounting and reporting processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial data
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Provide support for ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
