Job Summary:

The
Software Quality Assurance Specialist
is responsible for ensuring that all software products and systems meet company quality standards and client requirements. This role involves planning, designing, and executing test strategies, identifying defects, and working closely with developers and project teams to improve product performance, functionality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and implement
    software testing plans
    , including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Execute
    manual and automated test cases
    to ensure the quality and stability of software applications.
  • Identify, document, and track
    defects or bugs
    using a defect tracking system (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
  • Collaborate with
    developers, business analysts, and project managers
    to clarify requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
  • Participate in
    software design and requirement reviews
    to provide QA insights and identify potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain
    test documentation
    , including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
  • Ensure that software products meet
    functional, performance, usability, and security
    standards before release.
  • Conduct
    User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    and coordinate feedback from end users or clients.
  • Continuously improve testing processes by adopting new tools, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Support
    continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
    processes by integrating automated tests into build pipelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in
    Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    .
  • 2–4 years
    of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of
    software testing methodologies
    , tools, and processes.
  • Experience with
    automated testing tools
    (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestComplete, or similar).
  • Familiarity with
    programming or scripting languages
    (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of
    Agile/Scrum methodologies
    .
  • Experience using
    bug tracking and project management tools
    such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent
    analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
    .

    communication and collaboration
    abilities.
