Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Convert requirements into test scenarios.
  • Execute and review testing results.
  • Enter defects into Jira.
  • Participate in testing lessons learned with the intention to provide process improvements to the testing process.
  • Monitor complex test environments that simulate customer environments
  • Use tracing and profiling tools or develop measurement methodologies to analyze performance issues.
  • Work with developers to triage issues and identify defect root cause and resolve iteratively.
  • Participate in requirements definition, design walkthroughs with the purpose of creating test scripts supporting required business needs.
  • Participate in project related meetings
  • Responsible for following quality assurance, software testing, methodologies, processes, best practices and techniques adopted by the Software Testing industry.
  • Deliver on commitments, show tenacity, and support stability and quality.
  • Deliver on time, quality work that is within budget and does not over-engineer.
  • Develop, execute and maintain test plans/procedures
  • Work with Customer Support to help identify, report and collaborate on solutions for problems reported in the field
  • Tools: Jira, Confluence, TestComplete, ReadyAPI, Azure DevOps
  • 4+ direct experience as a quality assurance engineer
