Job Summary:

The Recruitment & Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process and employee training programs. This role ensures the organization attracts, hires, and develops top talent while fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. The position requires close coordination with department heads to meet manpower needs and deliver relevant training that supports organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing requirements and workforce planning needs.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to build strong talent pipelines.
  • Oversee training needs analysis and identify gaps in employee skills and performance.
  • Design, coordinate, and evaluate training programs, workshops, and employee development initiatives.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and training attendance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and equal employment opportunity standards.
  • Coach and mentor HR staff in recruitment and training practices.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment metrics and training outcomes to management.
  • Manage the Disciplinary Action Procedures.
  • Maintain good communication with PESO local offices and varying training organizations or providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in recruitment and training, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment methods, training design, Philippine Labor Code, and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in employer branding, onboarding, and employee development programs.
  • Professional certification in HR, Recruitment, or Training (e.g., Train-the-Trainer, CHRP, ATD) is an advantage.
