Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Agent to join our team, providing dedicated support to an Australian pest control client. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for new and existing customers, responsible for explaining service options, identifying needs, negotiating sales, and scheduling services while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires a high degree of empathy, strong persuasive communication skills, and the ability to work within Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT).

Key Responsibilities

· Inbound & Outbound Sales: Handle inbound inquiries and carry outbound calls to prospective and existing clients (residential and commercial) to discuss their pest control needs.

· Consultative Selling: Inspect "virtual premises" (via customer descriptions) to identify potential pest issues and recommend tailored solutions (e.g., general pest control, termite inspection/treatment).

· Lead Generation & Conversion: Generate and follow up on new sales opportunities and leads, striving to meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.

· Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

· Service Scheduling & Documentation: Prepare accurate service contracts, quotes, and schedule treatments with field technicians using the client's CRM system.

· Product Knowledge Expertise: Become an expert on the client's pest control services, products, and industry trends to effectively articulate benefits and answer customer questions.

· Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints and inquiries with professionalism, resolving issues or escalating complex problems to the relevant department to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Experience: Proven experience in a sales, telesales, or customer service role, with Australian clients preferably in the construction service industry or similar.

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with a clear and persuasive phone presence.

· Customer Orientation: Strong customer service skills and a commitment to improving customer satisfaction.

· Sales Acumen: A goal-oriented mindset with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Gorilla Desk CRM software or similar and standard office productivity tools (Google Mail/Calendars, MS Office Suite).

· Adaptability: Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desired (but not required)

· Knowledge of the Australian market or pest control industry.

· Experience in a B2C or B2B sales context related to home services.
