Business Process and Systems Head

Job Summary

The Business Process and Systems Head will be responsible in maintaining and improving Management Systems Procedures. The role will be responsible for leading initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement across all business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance overall organizational performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Process Analysis:

· Conduct thorough analyses of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and feedback on current processes.

· Identify Improvement Opportunities:

· Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement

· Prioritize improvement initiatives based on potential impact and strategic goals.

• Develop Improvement Strategies:

· Develop comprehensive strategies and action plans for process improvement.

· Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

· Streamline processes to enhance overall operational efficiency.

• System Integration/ Improvement:

· Collaborate with IT/ Developers, Department Heads, and other relevant teams to ensure system automation success.

· Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing systems to identify areas for improvement

· Develop strategies for the seamless integration of various systems.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration needs and requirements.

• Implement Process Changes:

· Lead the implementation of process improvements, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.

· Conduct training and provide guidance and support to teams during the transition to new processes.

• Change Management:

· Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes.

· Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders and address concerns.

• Performance Metrics and KPIs:
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements. Monitor and report on performance against established metrics.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field. A master's degree or MBA with focus on operations is an advantage. A valid Certification (for Industrial Engineers) is highly preferred.
• At least 5- 7 years of experience in business process management and systems improvement, preferably within the plastic pipes manufacturing or related industrial sectors.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, especially in PVC/cPVC/uPVC pipe production, including quality management systems, production workflow, and inventory control.
• Proven track record in analyzing complex manufacturing processes and implementing process optimization strategies that enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput.

· Strong familiarity with management standards such as ISO 9001, and experience maintaining and improving these systems within a manufacturing context.

• Expertise in system integration and automation, working closely with IT and system developers to align manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, and other operational technologies for seamless workflow.
• Certified in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), or equivalent process improvement methodologies, with practical application in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in establishing and tracking KPIs key to manufacturing performance such as cycle time, yield, downtime, and defect rates, and reporting actionable insights to senior management.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for liaising with department heads, operators, IT teams, and external partners, delivering training and facilitating effective collaboration.
• Proficient with manufacturing software systems including ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle), process mapping tools, and data analytics software for operational data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving orientation, detail-focused, with demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results in a dynamic manufacturing setting focused on plastic pipe products.
