About the role

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining strong business relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, online travel agencies (OTAs), and other potential partners. The role involves managing key accounts, meeting sales targets, and promoting the hotel's offerings to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing B2B and B2C clients.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, and presentations to promote the property.
  • Promote and cross-sell other SMS-Managed properties.
  • Handle contract negotiations, group bookings, corporate tie-ups, and travel agency accounts.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows, expos, and marketing events to represent the hotel/resort.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Front Office, and Reservations to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts.
  • Assist in the development of sales tools, packages, and promotional strategies.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, proposals, and communication with clients.

What we're looking for

  • 1 year of relevant sales experience, preferably within the Hotel industry is an advantage but not required
  • Fresh Graduate are also welcome, much appreciated when with Latin honors distinction
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex client situations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field related to Business Management
