Location: Pasay, but willing to be deployed outside Metro Manila

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a responsible and proactive Safety Officer/Coordinator to support our operations team in ensuring safe, compliant, and well-coordinated job execution. This role involves processing permits, coordinating with clients, and overseeing manpower to ensure all safety protocols, PPE, and site standards are strictly followed.

If you are detail-oriented, safety-driven, and capable of managing both people and processes on-site, this position is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with clients or requestors to process required permits to work before job start.
  • Communicate job requirements and safety reminders to the crew prior to mobilization.
  • Oversee manpower to ensure proper use of uniforms, safety gear, and adherence to company standards.
  • Monitor worksite conditions and place barricades where needed for safety.
  • Ensure good housekeeping and maintain organized work areas.
  • Apply first aid and assist in emergency response for injured personnel on site.
  • Report all accidents, near-misses, or safety violations to the Operations Office.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures when using tools and equipment.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Safety Officer or Site Coordinator
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with clients and team members
  • Willing to undergo training and assignment outside Metro Manila when needed
  • Alert, proactive, and able to respond quickly in emergency situations

Required Training & Skills

  • Certificate in Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH)
  • Familiar with permit-to-work processes and documentation
  • Certified in First Aid, CPR, or Loss Control Management (preferred)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
