Training Officer - responsible for training new hired employees assigned to store markets under a consignment model. The role focuses on delivering hands-on training related to store opening, inventory handling, product quality control, creation of reports, display standards, hygiene and customer service. particularly for stores dealing with fresh.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Train new employees on store setup procedures in opening a new store or locations, product display, cleanliness and compliance with foods safety regulations.
  2. Conduct training on the proper use of tools and equipment such as chillers, weighing scales and POS systems.
  3. Educate staff on inventory rotation (FIFO/LIFO), spoilage control, and daily remittance and coordination with consignors.
  4. Guide staff through consignment-specific policies such as sales tracking, daily remittance and coordination with consignors.
  5. Ensure all opening day operations are completed and that trained staff are ready for live store operations.
  6. Monitor and assess the performance of trainees during and after store opening, providing additional coaching as needed.
  7. Maintain accurate training attendance records, evaluations forms and feedback reports.
  8. Other task that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. With at least two (2) year experience as trainer in retail store or fresh goods handling; training experience is a strong advantage.
  2. Knowledgeable of consignment model.
  3. Willing to travel and work on-site at different store or wet market locations.
  4. Good communication and coordination skills.
  5. Must be able to drive a motorcycle and have a personal unit for mobility.
  6. Strong communication, presentation and people management skills.
  7. With at least 3 years of stay in the previous company.
