
Business Development Assistant

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Business Development and Franchise Support Assistant is mainly responsible for providing administrative support to the Business Development Manager in seeking out and developing new business and franchise opportunities, in building and/or nurturing relationships with potential and existing partners, and contributing to the sustainability of profitable business ventures and partnerships. He/she gathers economic and market data analytics for assessing viability of business opportunities. Also, he/she performs the administrative role of preparing documents, correspondences and communicating with various stakeholders for project start-ups and interfaces with franchisees to service and maintain their accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gathers information for feasibility studies and analysis to determine if the potential spaces are viable
- Assists the Business Development Manager in coordinating with third party partners on aligning existing and future business expansion projects
- Assists the Business Development Manager, in coordination with Marketing Department, in the conduct of the following research studies: traffic count in the prospective site, cinema occupancy in the prospective mall, consumer spending, market share, competitive market scanning, and other market researches as the need arises
- Provides pre-operational support to franchisees and coordinates with Franchise Project Team members of TEI to ensure a successful and smooth turnover of the franchise business
- Assists in coordinating with the project opening team members from different departments of TEI, to ensure all critical information are communicated as to smoothly open the franchise stores without delay
- Assists in negotiations with the Leasing Heads of malls or commercial centers in order to get the best arrangement possible for the lease of store space
- Explores creative ways of proactively seeking franchise and business opportunities by making good use of his/her network of friends, family, relatives, and social contacts
- Provides support to the Business Development Manager in the implementation of approved strategies for business growth in further development of TEI's business
- Performs other administrative works such as preparation of Letter of Intent, sending of preliminary email to several retail developments, updating of the Gantt Chart of the Unit's projects monthly and quarterly
Qualifications:
- Must have a degree in Marketing, Management, Finance, Economics, Operations, Office Admin or any Business-related course
- At least 1year work experience as Marketing, Admin or Executive Assistant or working in an assistant role in the field of Business, Sales and Account Management, Marketing Research, and Business Development
- Knowledge of market research and data mining
- Proficient in preparation of marketing and business development reports and analysis
- Must be a good communicator both oral and written
- Have rapport with people as he/she needs to network and interface a lot with external and internal parties
- Adept with administrative work
- Office Location: Brgy. Palanan, Makati (Near Cash & Carry mall)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php19, Php21,000.00 per month
