We are seeking a talented and experienced Safety Officer 3 to join our team in Las Piñas City, Metro Manila. As a Safety Officer 3, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our employees, contractors and visitors on our construction sites. This is a full-time position that will involve overseeing and implementing our comprehensive safety program across multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Developing and delivering tailored safety training programs for employees and subcontractors
  • Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents, and implementing corrective actions
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Collaborating with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety considerations into daily operations
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to the company's safety program
  • Monitoring safety performance on site by Inspecting premises and equipment.
  • Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the site
  • Submission Safety Monthly Report to DOLE
  • Ensure safety on the site at all times.
  • Stay updated with safety regulations: Stay up-to-date with DOLE, OSH, and other government agencies on safety regulations and standards applicable to the construction industry. Monitor industry trends and best practices to improve safety programs and procedures continuously.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Senior High School graduate or it's equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer 3 or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry with Certification in Construction Occupational Health and Safety (COSH) – SO3 is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction site safety protocols, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct safety training and presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills.
  • Proficient in using safety equipment and tools, if applicable.
  • Able to conduct physical fitness to perform job duties on construction sites as NEEDED.
  • Strong working knowledge of local and national health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in risk assessment, incident investigation and safety program management
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive continuous safety improvements
  • Degree or certification in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field is preferred
